Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ViralView operator collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with ViralView, an invitation-only social analytics and reporting service.
ViralView is built for business users who track public TikTok account and video signals, organize accounts into interest sets, and generate reports or strategy materials.
Information we collect
- Account and team information, such as user email addresses, team names, team roles, invitations, legal acceptance records, magic-link authentication records, and session records.
- Service configuration, such as TikTok handles, interest set names, report recipient emails, owned/reference account labels, update intervals, and report preferences.
- Public TikTok-related data, such as public handles, profile metrics, video identifiers, descriptions, posting dates, engagement metrics, hashtags, links, and historical snapshots obtained from public sources or service providers.
- Service-generated data, such as reports, analytics, similarity scores, strategy opportunities, AI-assisted summaries or creative briefs when enabled, import records, queue status, and operational logs.
- Request and security data, such as timestamps, browser-provided request metadata, cookie/session identifiers, and records needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.
How we use information
- Authenticate users, manage team access, and send magic links or invitations.
- Track selected public accounts and hashtags, refresh public metrics, and maintain historical analytics.
- Generate dashboards, reports, recommendations, summaries, predictions, creative briefs, and related business insights.
- Send transactional emails, including login links, invitations, and scheduled reports.
- Secure, debug, measure, maintain, and improve ViralView.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Service.
Public data and third-party services
ViralView analyzes public TikTok account and video information. ViralView does not control TikTok, does not remove content from TikTok, and is not responsible for TikTok's privacy practices.
ViralView uses service providers to operate the product, including Cloudflare for hosting, D1 database storage, R2 object storage, queues, email delivery, and optional AI Gateway routing; TikAPI or similar providers for public TikTok data access; configured AI providers when AI features are enabled; and email delivery infrastructure.
Cookies and sessions
ViralView uses authentication cookies and related session records to keep authorized users signed in and protect access to team workspaces. ViralView does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party ad tracking on the public app.
Sharing and disclosure
- With service providers that process information for hosting, storage, analytics processing, public data access, AI features, email delivery, security, and support.
- Within a team workspace, based on user roles and the information that team members add to ViralView.
- When required by law, legal process, security needs, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
- In connection with a business transfer, financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or similar transaction.
Retention
ViralView retains information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain historical analytics, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the service, and maintain backups. You can request deletion or access assistance by contacting us.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other assistance with personal information associated with your ViralView account. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA if ViralView is subject to that law, including rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain sensitive information uses, opt out of sale or sharing, and be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
ViralView does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To submit a privacy request, email us at the address below.
Security
ViralView uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
ViralView is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Contact privacy@viralview.app with privacy questions or requests.
